Anniversary goings on at the Herdic House… With our apologies if you’ve already been in to help us celebrate our 41st anniversary (and claim your free entree!), we wanted to resend this email to our great customers (that’s you!), for all those who may have accidentally thrown away the first email, or just missed it entirely under a deluge of beauty ads, insurance ads, pleas for funding, updates on dastardly political doings on all sides, and the like.
This email is none of those things— it’s just an offer to join us some night this November at our House for a meal, and get a free entree when you buy a full-priced entree. Same November offer we’ve been sending out all these long years, to all our favorite customers—now in a digital format! As we enter our 41st year in business (and Dante reaches the apex of his gorgeous Gatsby phase), there’s one thing we’ve learned: we love large parties. As Jordan Baker opined in the Great Gatsby, way back in 1925, large parties are “so intimate. At small parties, there isn’t any privacy.” That’s why we nab the whole month of November to celebrate our anniversary.
