This fine dining restaurant specializes in serving sustainable, locally-grown produce and meats, in the picturesque environs of a beautifully restored Victorian mansion.

We have a $1000 food and beverage minimum when the restaurant opens for a group event outside of the restaurant’s usual hours of operation (ordinary dining hours: Wednesday-Saturday beginning at 5 pm). In order to reserve a private dining room (our Green, Red, Gold and Front Rooms) during our normal hours of operation, our food and beverage minimum varies depending on bookings—please call or email to enquire.

Bridal Showers:
Host a bridal shower steeped in tradition and elegance at Peter Herdic House. Our Victorian setting offers the perfect backdrop for an evening of lively conversation, delectable food, and fine drinks. Whether you gather by the fireplace with hors d’oeuvres or explore the nearby downtown Williamsport, your shower will be an event to remember. Extend the celebration by staying in one of our luxurious rooms, perfect for a night of pampering and bonding with friends.
Rehearsal Dinners:
After rehearsing your ceremony, unwind with a rehearsal dinner at Herdic House. Our venue combines Victorian romance with gourmet cuisine, offering a variety of menus to suit different tastes and budgets. From light fare to full-service sit-down dining, our chef uses locally sourced, hormone-free ingredients to create meals that reflect your commitment to an environmentally friendly wedding. With space for up to 100 guests, Herdic House ensures your pre-wedding event is as special as the day itself.
Victorian Tea Party
Tea parties are available in both a full-service or a station/buffet format, and the menu is customizable to your tastes and dietary restrictions. Read on for a sample menu, and call to discuss a booking.
Our classic tea service begins with a selection of different teas for your guests, served in our signature Herdic mugs, followed by a plate of 6 assorted tea sandwiches, and then by a plate of 5 assorted tea cakes.
Our tea menu is priced per person, with a minimum of 30 guests requested. Please note that pricing may change, depending on your specific menu or other special requests, and that food and beverage minimums may apply, depending on the time and day of your event.
- 30-44 guests: $35/person
- 45-59 guests: $32/person
- 60 guests and over: $29/person
For an additional charge, we’re also happy to offer other beverages at your event, whether you prefer something non-alcoholic (strawberry lemonade, cold-brewed hibiscus tea) or something a little boozy (champagne punch, mimosas, bellinis, sangria).
Savory tea sandwich options include:
- Chicken salad and raspberry butter sandwich
- Smoked salmon mousse and cucumber sandwich
- Radish, chive and butter sandwich
- Savory cream puffs with spinach and ricotta mousse
